🩺 General Surgery 101: Technical Surgery Boot Camp

This 16-hour primer lays the foundation for surgical training. Students practice suturing and knot-tying ✂️, integrating anatomy and physiology with practical skills. Training includes simulated procedures on the trachea, stomach, esophagus, intestines, gallbladder, and appendix.

Fast-paced and intensive, this course is designed for students preparing for careers in medicine, nursing, paramedicine, or related fields. By the end, participants will gain a broad set of essential surgical skills to launch their training pathway.

🩸 Vascular Surgery 101

This two 8-hour each courses applies technical skills to advanced vascular surgery. Students begin with the Carrel Vascular Anastomosis 🏅, then progress to aortic trauma repair, abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, bypass procedures, patch angioplasty, thrombectomy, and arterio-venous access creation.

The course also covers central venous catheter placement (including Swan-Ganz catheter insertion) 💉 and emphasizes teamwork, precision, and judgment under pressure—skills vital for both vascular surgery and broader medical practice.
