This program is a powerful, instructor-led, self-contained, project-based, professional coding internship taught by a highly skilled and experienced Computer Science teacher.
This 9-week summer internship includes students from across LA working together to build projects for real clients.
Over the course of the summer, participants will become versed in the Git workflow, pair programming, agile development, and test-driven development. Students will work on a variety of projects ranging from machine learning to front-end design to app development. Students will be assigned to a project based on need, interest, and skill set.

DESIGNED FOR HIGH SCHOOL & COLLEGE STUDENTS
The ideal participants will be: dedicated, as they will be programming for seven hours a day; collaborative, as they will be spending a good deal of that time working with others; and creative, as they will be searching for multiple approaches to problem-solving.

PREREQUISITES
Students should be familiar with the concepts of variables, loops, conditionals, and the basics of object-oriented programming.

PROGRAM ACCEPTANCE
Prospective students will be required to complete a programming challenge and interview to gain acceptance to the program. Once you complete the registration below, we will set up an interview.
Upon acceptance, you will be required to submit a deposit of $400, no refund or changes, which guarantees your seat in our Computer Science Professional Development Internship. Deposit amount goes towards Internship Fees with remaining balance due by May 15, 2019.
