PVNet is a nonprofit STEM education and research center founded in 1995.
PVNet provides hands-on classes in engineering, coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, electronics, design, and emerging technologies.
Students build real projects using professional tools and software.
PVNet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 91-1797792).
What makes PVNet different from traditional schools?
PVNet provides opportunities that traditional schools often cannot offer:

Do you support advanced or GATE students?
Yes.
Many students are advanced learners seeking greater challenge and deeper exploration than traditional school environments typically provide.
Classes
How big are classes?
Classes typically enroll 2–7 students, and never more than 10 students per instructor.
Small group size allows individualized attention and strong support.
How long are classes?
Some workshops meet only once, such as soldering workshops.
Other classes meet multiple times depending on subject complexity.

Do students need prior experience?
Most introductory classes do not require prior experience.
Advanced classes may include prerequisites.
What do students do in class?
Students work with real tools and technology such as:
• electronics
• programming
• robotics
• 3D design
• engineering tools
• scientific equipment
Students design and build projects.
Can parents observe classes?
Parents may visit briefly at the beginning of a class.
Can students stay after class?
Students should be picked up promptly after class unless:
• the student has another class starting soon
• the student is participating in an internship program
