About This Free Internship Program

There is no fee for this internship.

This unpaid, hands-on, academic driven program provides a unique opportunity for participants to gain professional experience and build skills through practical application.

 

Interns will edit videos that encourage gaining video production experience.

​

Selected videos will be added to PVNet’s professional IMDB account, providing an impressive reference for college applications and resumes.

​

The invitation to apply for this internship opportunity is open to students 9th grade and above.
 

🔹 Past Internships

Spring 2025 – Completed Projects

  • Produced community-focused public service announcements

  • Created documentary-style content highlighting innovative technology research

Erica Meng, video production intern Spring of 2025 produced a public service video for the LA County Sheriff Department promoting e-Bike safety. The video will be distributed to local cities to air on their cabel channels and is included on IMDB as a professional credit and Ericas' first industry production credit.

Erica was presented with a letter of recognition from Kimberly Guerrero, Captain of Lomita Sheriff Station and Robert G. Luna, Sheriff. The letter was given to by Lieutenant Micheal White, and Deputy Derrick Clotworthy.

🎬 Internship Description

Participants will engage in the video recording, editing, and production of digital media projects with a focus on research, education, and public awareness. All work will be published to relevant platforms and may be used in community outreach or educational distribution.
 

✅ Participation Requirements

  • Basic video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro (installed on your system)

  • Ability to work with provided footage, including interviews and digital avatars

  • Willingness to follow visual guidelines and meet scheduled deadlines
