This unpaid, hands-on, academic driven program provides a unique opportunity for participants to gain professional experience and build skills through practical application.

 

Interns will edit videos that encourage gaining video production experience.

​

Selected videos will be added to PVNet’s professional IMDB account, providing an impressive reference for college applications and resumes.

​

The invitation to apply for this internship opportunity is open to students 9th grade and above.

 

SCHEDULE:

• Program term: January 25 - May 31 2025

• Pre-production meeting: January 25, 2025, 3:00PM -  4:30PM

PROJECTS/DESCRIPTION:

1. Video record and edit public service announcements at PVNet. The subject will be eBike safety. The completed video will be submitted to the cable TV channel serving the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

2. Edit videos about the research and creation of an eSport game for persons suffering from quadriplegia.

​

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:

1. Basic skills using Adobe Premiere Pro and have it installed on your computer.

2. Must generally follow style requirement using existing recorded video interviews with researchers and videos of AI avatar hosts.

3. Follow production timelines and meet deadlines.
