Description:

Future Engineers is a series of classes about wide-ranging topics designed to teach students introductory level skills about many subjects required by schools and colleges, including but not limited to:

  • JAVA

  • ARDUINO (Microcontroller used in engineering, robotics, and thousands of scientific applications)

  • Robot C

  • Robotics

  • Electronics for robotics

  • Creating simple circuit boards

  • Hacking hardware ·   

  • Python

  • C#

  • C

  • C++

  • Coding algorithms for AI and Machine Learning

... and more.

Students can use this course to:
 

  • Be introduced to a wide range of engineering topics required by schools, colleges, and NASA.

  • Learn about Arduino and its use in everyday items

  • Participate in hands-on engineering projects 


Grade Levels: 
Grades 6 - 12

 

PVNet provides materials to be used during class. Students have the option of purchasing materials to keep permanently - recommended by PVNet. Approximate cost  - $45 and can be purchased from Amazon or at PVNet if ordered 10 days prior to the start of the class.

STEM ALERT for PARENT:

 

An Arduino is a small computer used to control robots and millions of other devices. If your child is interested in programming or robotics, this is an important introductory class for beginners not available elsewhere.
