Come join us and build your own UAS quadcopter and launch it together in our Aeronautical Engineering class!

In this class, students will be introduced to and learn concepts through hands-on applications in the areas of safety, electronics, mechanics, programming, radio control, fundamentals and physics of flight and a basic understanding of the digital electronics used to control the craft.

PVNet provides materials to be used during class.

Description:

Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Technology has evolved into a sophisticated, highly advanced and competitive industry with limitless applications. UAS’ are not limited to recreational use but are used worldwide for search and rescue, water management, accident reporting, military topography mapping, artificial intelligence development, first responder information gathering, and movie making. This is a hands-on project-based class where students will build a UAS quadcopter from scratch and receive basic flight instruction from an FAA certified pilot and licensed drone expert.

In this class, students will be introduced to and learn concepts through hands-on applications in the areas of safety, electronics, mechanics, programming, radio control, fundamentals and physics of flight and a basic understanding of the digital electronics used to control the craft.
