OVERVIEW FOR INVENTOR MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the IGI is divided into two categories. This page is for Inventor members age 18+. Please see our Young Inventors page for more information on 17 and under membership.

The Inventors program focus is a project-based experience, leading members in the creation of their own invention. It introduces basic principles of design through out-of-the-box problem solving and critical thinking.
The IGI empowers each member by encouraging them to tap into their skills and interests to create extraordinary things.
Inventor Membership Fees​
​
The first group of members to register receive a special Founding Member registration price at $100/month. Membership fees will help to startup the program by providing support, mentors and material.

In addition to the monthly membership fee, the following annual contributions grant further benefits:

Additional costs are applicable for materials and services such as:

A minimum 6-month commitment is required. Monthly prices increase after the first 6 months.

Members are welcome to schedule weekly meetings with their mentors throughout the month at PVNet's Technology Center.
What Members Learn

Inventors learn from mentors both how to create their product and construct their prospective business plans. Mentors help inventors:

Learn entrepreneurial skills

Pitch and receive constructive feedback on their ideas

Construct their own program or invention with hands-on assistance

Learn how to develop their idea from the ground up, with supervision and professional guidance

Develop business plans and marketing strategies

Inventors have the option to further their education through classes with highly trained professionals and educators at PVNet. Members will be granted a 25% discount on all PVNet classes related to their project.
