Public Speaking is often considered one of life’s biggest fears. Even over spiders! Learn how to get over your anxiety with practical and useful skill development. In this six week course, we will cover everything from learning effective eye contact, gestures (what to do with your hands), vocal control, speech organization, non-verbal communication, and even humor.  Each week, students will be able to get up in front of the group with simple presentation assignments and practice speeches with professional feedback in a fun and engaging way.



   This is an important skill used in every area of life from youth to adulthood, from giving simple toasts, to school presentations, job interviews and even facilitating business meetings. You will develop tremendous confidence with this course and will want to find all kinds of opportunities to utilize your new found skill! Session 1 - Saturday, June 30

Introduction to Public Speaking and Anxieties:

Learn practical and useful tips to get over your fears of public speaking and being in front of a crowd.


Session 2 - Saturday, July 7

Eye Contact and Gestures:

Discover effective ways to connect and engage with your audience.


Session 3 - Saturday, July 14

Vocal Variety and Delivery:

Develop strong elocution and a more confident speaking voice.


Session 4 - Saturday, July 21

Organizing your Speech and PowerPoint:

Learn how to outline your speech and present with PowerPoint.


Session 5 - Saturday, August 4

Non-Verbal Communication and Reading People:

Tips on how to better understand your audience's reactions and what body language says.


Session 6 - Saturday, August 11

Extemporaneous Speaking:

Learn how to speak "off the cuff" without notes and limited preparation.

Mr. Schulman is an award-winning public speaker (over 40 competitive wins in public speaking, including third place in the Regionals for the 2006 World Championship of Public Speaking), corporate sales trainer, and even poker and chess coach with a unique communication training company, that teaches entrepreneurs, engineers, realtors/ mortgage/ insurance agents, all kinds of business professionals, and especially teens and kids, how to better pitch, present and persuade.  


He has many popular courses, seminars, and private sessions online and live, and is frequently called upon to coach contestants on Shark Tank as well as many YouTube stars, and professional athletes for their presentation appearances. Mr. Schulman has had an illustrious career over the years as an executive with many languages and cultural training companies including Berlitz Languages, Global LT and Rosetta Stone.

He is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BFA degree in the School of Drama, and also a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.


Soon, Mr. Schulman will be rolling out his popular communication programs with the exciting technology of Virtual Reality to give the ultimate audience experience learning public speaking that will amaze and effectively build this essential business and life skill, whether you are introverted, have English as a Second Language, or even learning difficulties.
