Students will learn the fundamentals of programming in the most widely used programming language in the industry today, Java. This class will provide an introduction to everything from variables to algorithms. We follow a syllabus designed to touch on all of the programming concepts taught in AP Computer Science and give students a great head start or refresher for taking this class at their high school.

Day 1: Structure of a program, variable types, and printing to the console.
Day 2: Control statements and boolean operators.
Day 3: Writing/using java functions.
Day 4: Taking user input and loops.
Day 5: Data structures and algorithms.
