PREPARE TO BE AN ENGINEER 

Appropriate for grades 6th -12th 

We welcome Chinese speaking students.

 

Pre- Requisite: Future Engineers Level 1 

 

This program includes a series of classes designed to teach students the subjects required for by schools and colleges.

 

Topics include:

 

  • Coding with Java, C#, Cm C++, Robot C

  • ARDUINO (Microcontroller used in engineering, robotics, & thousands of 
    scientific applications)

  • Robotics

  • Electronics for robotics

  • Creating simple circuit boards

  • Hacking hardware 

 

STEM ALERT for PARENTS:

 

An Arduino is a small computer used to control robots and millions of other devices. If your child is interested in programming or robotics, this is an important introductory class for beginners not available elsewhere.

It’s never too early to make friends with Arduinos!

 

What are they used for?

Arduinos are the brains in millions of devices including:

 

  • Cell phones

  • 3D printers

  • Quadcopters

  • RC Cars

  • Robots

  • Laser tag device

  • Navigation systems

  • Security systems

  • Medical devices

  • NASA research aircraft

  • Laser sensor systems

 

No material costs, however, students have the option of purchasing materials to keep permanently.
