Circuit Board Design

Learn how real electronic devices are designed and built. In this hands-on class, students create their own simple printed circuit board (PCB) from start to finish using a beginner-friendly CAD program and real components.

Students will design a working circuit that includes a pushbutton switch, battery connector, and LED, then have their board fabricated and assembled into a functioning device. Along the way, they learn core concepts of circuit layout, component placement, and how electronic systems are developed in real-world engineering environments.

No prior experience is required. All materials are provided. This class is ideal for students interested in electronics, engineering, robotics, or practical hands-on STEM skills.
